Con una inversión de más de $7 millones, la Alcaldía de Dosquebradas se vincula al Risaralda Bird Festival.
Risaralda Bird Festival, es considerado un espacio dedicado a los amantes de la naturaleza y el avistamiento de aves al que se ha vinculado el municipio de Dosquebradas que actualmente cuenta con más de 50 especies de aves identificadas.

“Estamos apoyando decididamente el Festival Risaralda Bird Festival, para dar a conocer la oferta turística del municipio en temas de atractivos de naturaleza como lo es el aviturismo. Es por ello que hemos dispuesto de recursos financieros por el orden de los $7 millones para apoyar la realización del festival y realizar la promoción turística de Dosquebradas”, indicó el secretario de Desarrollo Económico y Competitividad, Geovanny Ducuara Londoño.
Añadió el funcionario que “queremos invitar a todas las personas a que visiten a Dosquebradas, Ventana Turística del Eje Cafetero, puesto que tenemos más de 50 especies de aves identificadas formalmente, como lo es el saltarín moñudo, que es el ave emblemática del municipio”.
Por su parte, el director del Risaralda Bird Festival, Juan Carlos Noreña Tobón, señaló que “La Alcaldía de Dosquebradas nos ha apoyado en el festival con un apoyo importante; sin ellos no podríamos realizar estas actividades. Cada vez en Risaralda y Dosquebradas tenemos más pajareros, tenemos también unos sitios maravillosos como el Alto del Oso, la vereda Las Hortensias donde encontramos el saltarín moñudo que es un ave muy atractiva para el aviturismo. El día lunes 21 de marzo vamos a tener una salida de campo en el municipio de Dosquebradas, en la Ruta del Saltarín Moñudo, que es en el Alto del Nudo”.
El Risaralda Bird Festival se llevará a cabo del 17 al 22 de marzo, con una nutrida agenda académica y turística a la cual las personas podrán acceder de manera gratuita en el Centro Cultural Lucy Tejada de 7:30 a.m. a 5:30 p.m.
