El Concejo Municipal de Dosquebradas aceptó la renuncia presentada por el Personero de esta localidad, Oscar Mauricio Toro Valencia, quien se lanza a la arena política con un objetivo específico, buscar la próxima alcaldía popular del municipio industrial.
Aunque la carta fue radicada el pasado 20 de septiembre, solo este lunes la Corporación en el inicio de su último período de sesiones ordinarias le aceptó la dimisión irrevocable a Toro Valencia.
Uno de los apartes del texto presentado por el ex Personero dice: “…Presento ante ustedes, con tristeza, pero con gran orgullo por el deber cumplido, la renuncia irrevocable y a partir de la fecha de la presentación de esta dimisión, a mi cargo como Personero Municipal de Dosquebradas, Risaralda”.
La decisión de Toro Valencia quien estuvo al frente de este cargo durante 10 años y 7 meses fue aceptada por la mesa directiva de la corporación a través de la Resolución 070 del 28 de septiembre, a partir del 1° de octubre de 2018.
“Durante este tiempo, he logrado demostrar que, con esfuerzo, carácter, organización, disciplina y correcta administración de los recursos púbicos se puede alcanzar lo impensable, lo que en otrora parecía imposible: que una entidad crezca, en un período de 10 años, en más de un 70% en servicios prestados a los ciudadanos que, en ultimas, son nuestra primera y más importante razón de ser”, puntualizó Óscar Mauricio Toro.
El abogado Mauricio Garcés Obando asumirá como Personero encargado, mientras el Concejo de Dosquebradas realiza el proceso de convocatoria para que a través de un concurso de méritos elija al nuevo titular del despacho.
