15 miembros del Consejo Directivo de la Confederación de los Cuerpos de Bomberos de Colombia visitaron la ciudad industrial.
Con el fin de socializar nuevas ideas de fortalecimiento, capacitación y apoyo administrativo de los Cuerpos de Bomberos de Colombia, los miembros del Consejo Directivo cumplieron con su tercera reunión para proponer ideas que se puedan implementar en todo el país.

De acuerdo con lo anterior, la comandante de Bomberos Dosquebradas, Lina María Marín Rodríguez, quien es la vicepresidente del Consejo Directivo, aseguró que desde el año pasado fue electa para comenzar con la labor de trabajar en pro de mejorar la respuesta de las unidades bomberiles.
“Es motivo de orgullo que en este proceso de descentralización visiten la ciudad, ya que vienen de diferentes partes del país como es Casanare, Quindío, Antioquia, Valle, Caldas, por lo que hemos podido traer no solamente a nuestros representantes bomberiles, sino darles un espacio para conocer nuestro municipio. En la jornada de trabajo estamos haciendo unas mesas de discusión en las cuales hablamos de capacitaciones virtuales y todo un proceso para fortalecer a nuestros bomberos porque queremos aprovechar los conocimientos de instructores reconocidos a nivel nacional”, Añadió la funcionaria.
Por su parte, el presidente del Consejo Directivo de la Confederación, Capitán Nelson Zulaica, agradeció a las autoridades municipales por el recibimiento resaltando la importancia que tienen los alcaldes en todo el proceso y destacando la presencia del alcalde (e) Juan Carlos Sepúlveda Montoya.
Finalmente expresó que “el objetivo de estas reuniones es que nuestros bomberos y nuestros comandantes de los Cuerpos de Bomberos del país se profesionalicen en un poco más de lo que hoy saben, que se capaciten en diferentes temas, y que logren un buen manejo administrativo, operativo y técnico
