Para el Departamento de Policía Risaralda, como nuevo comandante, en reemplazo de la coronel Yolanda Celina Arteaga, fue nombrado el coronel Dairo Hernán Puentes Bedoya, quien se venía desempeñando como comandante operativo de la Metropolitana de Bogotá.
Entre tanto el actual subcomandante de la Metropolitana de Pereira, coronel Fáber Dávila Giraldo, asume como nuevo comandante de la Policía en el Magdalena.
De otra parte se conoció que la brigadier general Juliette Giomar Kure Parra se convierte en la primera mujer en asumir la Dirección de la Escuela de Cadetes ‘General Francisco de Paula Santander’. Mientras el Padre Silverio Suárez es el nuevo Director de Bienestar Social.
