La Secretaría de Infraestructura del departamento lidera el proyecto por $1487 millones para construir cuatro cubiertas en Pereira, Belén de Umbría y Dosquebradas.
Una obra que venían esperando las comunidades del Campestre A en Dosquebradas, fue inaugurada por el gobernador de Risaralda, Sigifredo Salazar Osorio
Con una inversión de $353 millones, la cubierta con estructura metálica para la cancha múltiple, fue dada al servicio de los habitantes de la comuna, quienes de ahora en adelante podrán practicar distintos deportes y realizar todo tipo de actividades sin tener que estar expuestos a la lluvia o al sol.
Esta es la quinta obra de estas características que entrega el mandatario risaraldense para escenarios deportivos, en un objetivo de promover el deporte y la recreación entre niños y jóvenes para la práctica en condiciones que no afecten la integridad.
“Este es un proyecto por $1487 millones donde se construyeron cuatro cubiertas dos en Pereira, una en Belén de Umbría y está en Dosquebradas para que la comunidad tenga una cancha con todas las condiciones de seguridad para las actividades deportivas y también realizar las actividades comunitarias”, explicó el mandatario.
Aseguró además que “en esta cancha vemos grupos de adulto mayor haciendo ejercicio desde la mañana, pero también está siendo utilizada hasta altas horas de la noche por los jóvenes deportistas”.
Esta obra, que fue ejecutada por la Secretaría de Infraestructura del departamento cubre 589 metros cuadrados del escenario deportivo, el cual cuenta con nuevas porterías de baloncesto y microfútbol, además de las instalaciones hidrosanitarias y eléctricas, y sistema de iluminación para ser usado en horario nocturno.

El presidente de la JAC del sector, Juan de Dios Ramírez Buitrago, señaló que con esta entrega de la cubierta “estamos de fiesta, porque este es un espacio que lo vamos a empezar a utilizar en el deporte, la recreación, tanto para niños, jóvenes y adultos mayores, y todo en general… Esta obra se beneficia los barrios de la Comuna 3 y de verdad estamos agradecidos con el señor Gobernador, lo queremos mucho y esta comunidad estaba esperando la obra”.
Entre tanto el fiscal de la Junta comunal, Libardo Antonio Rendón, se mostró satisfecho con la obra, indicando que allí todos podrán hacer ejercicios a la sombra y seguros de una infraestructura que guarda todas las normas de resistencia y calidad.
