Este jueves 13 de enero en el departamento del Quindío, el candidato al Senado por el Partido Liberal, Juan Pablo Gallo Maya presentó algunas de sus propuestas, entre las que destacó el Tren de Cercanías, el cable aéreo para Salento y disminución de la tarifa de los peajes
“Son muchas las propuestas que estamos trabajando, desde nuestra campaña al Senado, como el Tren de Cercanías, un proyecto no solo de impacto para el Quindío, sino para todo nuestro Eje Cafetero. Durante mucho tiempo se desestimó la infraestructura férrea y a los trenes como una de las grandes herramientas de competitividad, un error terrible que hemos pagado, queremos recuperar ese modo de transporte y unir los tres departamentos a través de un Tren de Cercanías, que tenga como propósito carga, pasajeros y también turismo. Con el Tren de Cercanías, los ciudadanos de los municipios del Eje Cafetero se conectarían en poco tiempo para realizar todas las actividades que necesiten ya sea estudio, trabajo o turismo”, aseguró Gallo Maya.
“Hoy es mucho más costoso enviar una carga de aquí a Buenaventura, que de Buenaventura a la China”, indicó.
En cuando al cable aéreo para Salento, es una propuesta que ofrecería muchas más posibilidades a este municipio tan visitado por turistas nacionales e internacionales pero que tiene grandes dificultades en materia de estacionamiento, por su alto flujo de visitantes.
Otra de las propuestas que presentó en el Quindío, el candidato al Senado por el Partido Liberal, L-99 en el tarjetón, es la disminución de la tarifa de los peajes. “Tenemos en esta región altas tarifas, nunca se ha eliminado un peaje en Colombia pero podemos pensar en disminuir la tarifa, para ganar en turismo y competitividad”, afirmó Gallo Maya.
Juan Pablo Gallo también estuvo recorriendo las calles de Armenia entregando las semillas que representan el cambio y la renovación en el Congreso de la República, enfatizando en su mensaje: “¡No más los mismos de siempre!”
