Un total de 29 mil estudiantes de básica primaria de 47 instituciones educativas de Pereira y Dosquebradas, recibieron por parte de la Gobernación paquetes escolares.
La jornada coordinada por la Secretaría de Educación Departamental fue acompañada por secretarios de despacho, directores, funcionarios y contratistas de la Gobernación, quienes se desplazaron a cada colegio para entregar las ayudas educativas.
“Agradecerle al Gobernador porque esto nos ayuda a nosotros como padres de familia a no tener que comprar los útiles escolares del otro año”, señaló María Magnolia Foronda, madre de familia.
Los paquetes que contienen cuadernos, cartuchera, lapiceros, colores, hojas de blog y otros elementos de estudios, han sido entregados en los 14 municipios del departamento.
“Es una ayuda bastante importante y un gesto bonito del Gobernador y la Secretaría de Educación Departamental al tenernos en cuenta” dijo por su parte Rosa María Niño, rectora del colegio Hugo Ángel Jaramillo.
El secretario de Educación departamental, Leonardo Gómez Franco, señaló que el propósito del Gobernador es mejorar las condiciones de todos los estudiantes del departamento, incluyendo los de Pereira y Dosquebradas, a pesar de que la Secretaría no maneja la educación de estos dos municipios por ser certificados.
