Risaralda enfrenta por primera vez la saturación de todos los servicios urgentes y vitales
Con preocupación abordaron las autoridades departamentales en el Puesto de Mando Unificado liderado por el Gobernador, Victor Manuel Tamayo, la llegada al 100 % de ocupación de UCI Covid y a nivel general en un 96 %, a pesar de los llamados a la prevención y auto cuidado que se han hecho; además, hay 6 pacientes Covid positivos en lista de espera para ser remitidos a otros departamentos y las camas UCI disponibles son solamente oncológicas; en ese sentido los epidemiólogos indican que, se encuentran saturados los servicios de urgencias en Risaralda.
Ante esto, y no encontrar consenso de los 14 alcaldes del departamento, las medidas sanitarias y de orden público, deberán tomarlas cada municipio para tratar de reducir la velocidad de contagios del Covid-19.
“La situación está delicada, si el Alcalde (de cualquier municipio) cree que es necesario tomar un toque de queda permanente durante 2, 3 o 4 días, cada Alcalde lo hará; si no lo hace, soy respetuoso de eso y no voy a entrar a imponer, por ahora, una decisión. Me reservo el derecho constitucional a hacerlo, pero hoy no voy a tomar ninguna decisión; y *que quede bajo la propia responsabilidad de los Alcaldes de tomar o no medidas*”, enfatizó el Gobernador, Victor Manuel Tamayo.
El mandatario también dijo que, los estudiantes de los 12 Municipios No Certificados, por orden del Departamento, suspenden las clases en alternancia y seguirán desde sus casas recibiendo educación por medio virtual. Esto no incluye a Pereira y Dosquebradas que cuentan con sus propias Secretarías de Educación.
