En los municipios risaraldenses de La Celia y Balboa hizo presencia este fin de semana el secretario de Gobierno de Risaralda, Israel Londoño, quien acompañó a los alcaldes en los operativos de seguimiento a las medidas adoptadas frente al Covid-19.
De acuerdo con la directriz del Gobernador Victor Manuel Tamayo, el objetivo es brindar asesoría y acompañamiento a los mandatarios. Con el Alcalde de La Celia Jhon Jairo Soto Hurtado visitaron una zona donde existía un bloqueo desde el puente que comunica a Villanueva corregimiento del Águila (Valle) con el sector de la Vereda San Gerardo del Municipio de la Celia. Esta jornada estuvo acompañada igualmente de la Policía Departamental. Finalmente, lograron concertar que no se afectaría la movilización por este sector.
También el secretario de Gobierno estuvo haciendo seguimiento con el Alcalde de Balboa, Huberto Vásquez.
“Yo soy de los alcaldes partidarios que las fronteras se deben cerrar, tenemos sitios críticos como Cruces, Cachipay, Totiu y la Bodega que se deben cerrar porque por allí están pasando personas para otros municipios, entre ellos, La Virginia, donde ya hay un caso de Covid-19, hemos tomado las medidas necesarias, hemos comprado elementos de bioseguridad, hemos preparado la Gloria para posibles casos de Covid-19, hemos hecho un albergue para los animales de la calle y hemos cumplido con toda la normatividad durante este periodo.
