La XXIII versión de Ejemoda, realizada el pasado fin de semana registró un notable crecimiento comparado con el año inmediatamente anterior, toda vez que en esta oportunidad el evento contó con la participación de 150 marcas en stands y pasarelas, 80 empresas en ruedas de negocios, 10 compradores internacionales y 17 nacionales.

Así lo consideró el alcalde Diego Ramos Castaño, precisando que “realmente es un balance muy positivo, hace un año la feria fue semipresencial y podemos dar a conocer que se concretaron negocios internacionales por 1.300 dólares y este año arrojó un millón de dólares más, para un total de 2.3 millones de dólares. Estamos muy felices por los resultados para los emprendedores del municipio los cuales hemos apoyado con $40 millones tanto a micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas; tenemos que reconocer el gran esfuerzo de la Cámara de Comercio de Dosquebradas puesto que todo fue un éxito”.
Entre tanto, el Presidente Ejecutivo de la Cámara de Comercio de Dosquebradas John Jaime Jiménez Sepúlveda, resaltó la importancia que tiene este tipo de eventos para la región, puesto que irriga la economía e incrementa la generación de empleo. “En esta versión 23 de Eje Moda ha permitido que los y las empresarias se puedan integrar en un espacio ofreciendo sus productos, hacer pasarela, hacer la comercialización y exposiciones hace que se convierta en un evento que congrega ejercicios de un sistema que hoy genera más de 20 mil empleos directos en nuestro territorio y que alrededor de ese modelo nosotros como sector privado debemos apoyarlos con el acompañamiento de varias instituciones que le suman y son estratégicas para nuestra economía”.
