La aplicación del Pico y Placa para el municipio de Dosquebradas se considera una necesidad, pero no se va a improvisar. Tres vías del municipio estarían excluidas de la medida.
La medida de Pico y Placa, anunciada recientemente por la Alcaldía de Dosquebradas, aún está en proceso. Así lo aseguró la secretaria de Tránsito y Movilidad del Municipio, Ángela Jazmín Hidalgo: “La conveniencia del Pico y Placa para esta ciudad viene surtiendo todos los trámites de socialización con las comunidades”.
Si bien para la Administración Municipal el Pico y Placa es una medida sana que reporta beneficios en el mejoramiento de la movilidad desde y hacia Dosquebradas, no es una acción urgente que se vaya a improvisar sin escuchar a los ciudadanos.
“Una de las mayores razones que se argumenta para que entre en vigencia la medida es lo crítico de varias vías; sin dejar de reconocer que algunas son concesionadas, incluso la Simón Bolívar. Por eso, socializamos la iniciativa del Pico y Placa por escrito con Invías, cuya primera respuesta fue favorable”, agregó la funcionaria.
Dentro de las propuestas para el municipio figura la opción de dejar tres vías exentas del Pico y Placa en Dosquebradas: la Avenida Ferrocarril, la Troncal de Occidente y el Viaducto César Gaviria Trujillo, por ser un paso de conexión importante hacia otras ciudades.
El Pico y Placa operaría inicialmente en Dosquebradas con el mismo horario de la ciudad de Pereira “para no generar algún conflicto de movilidad, pero la idea es hacerla luego rotativa”, indicó Hidalgo.
Las autoridades de Tránsito de Dosquebradas dejaron en claro que la idea del Pico y Placa para la localidad no es una imposición, por eso, “la medida avanza positivamente para tomar las mejores decisiones del caso”, enfatizó la funcionaria.
