Un acto de responsabilidad social se llevó a cabo el barrio El Dorado de Pereira, donde el Gerente de la Lotería del Risaralda, Herman Calvo Pulgarín, se hizo presente con su equipo de trabajo para compartir con los integrantes de la Liga Risaraldense de Béisbol y hacerles entrega de implementos deportivos.
“Estuvimos en el barrio El Dorado acompañando a la Liga Risaraldense de Béisbol algo que no es usual en nuestro departamento ya que siempre nos hemos enfocado en el fútbol, el microfútbol, el voleibol y basquetbol; tenemos una liga de béisbol, un grupo de niños desde los 4 años hasta adultos practicando este deporte que no es usual en nuestro departamento pero que está haciendo carrera, está haciendo ciudad, en estos proyectos donde no solamente es el deporte, es la prevención, es la salud, la educación y quiero agradecer desde esta instancia a nuestro Gobernador, al presidente de la Liga Risaraldense de Béisbol, al Alcalde por haberles facilitado este espacio para desarrollar esta actividad”, enfatizó Calvo Pulgarín.
Por su parte, el presidente de la Liga de Béisbol, Denis Darío Correa Pescador aseguró: “La Lotería siempre nos apoya, estamos muy agradecidos con este despliegue de la labor social de la Lotería a través de los recursos que pueden utilizar para apoyar niños, feliz de tener a Herman Calvo apoyando estos procesos, a todo su equipo de trabajo, invito a la gente para que crea en el béisbol y que le sigan apostando a la Lotería del Risaralda, por traerle recursos a nuestro deporte y eso es hacer país”.
Luis Eduardo Terán, instructor de la Selección Preinfantil e Infantil de Béisbol de Risaralda, también se mostró agradecido con la entidad de juegos de suerte y azar: “Agradecido enormemente por este apoyo que nos está dando y aquí vamos en pro del beneficio de los niños en el béisbol”.
Finalmente, Manuel Steven Gómez Blandón integrante de la selección infantil de béisbol de Risaralda, que vive en el corregimiento de Puerto Caldas y que todos los fines de semana se traslada a la ciudad de Pereira para entrenar el deporte que tanto lo apasiona, dijo: “La lotería nos regaló unas gorras y nos dio otras cosas y le doy las gracias a la Lotería del Risaralda por eso los invito para que la sigan comprando”.
