Ante la afectación que sufrió el techo del estadio Hernán Ramírez Villegas por causa del fuerte vendaval registrado en la tarde del jueves, el secretario de Infraestructura de Pereira, Harol Calderón indicó que en primer lugar se procederá a retirar el material averiado y que tal como se había anunciado, el techo del estadio entrará en total reparación.
“El arreglo del techo del estadio, un lugar emblemático para los pereiranos es un compromiso del alcalde Juan Pablo Gallo con la ciudad, la parte contractual para su adjudicación, avanza bajo la normatividad correspondiente”, señaló el ingeniero Calderón.
Las obras se estarían adjudicando en quince días. “Esperamos devolverle pronto a los pereiranos, este escenario deportivo que nos hace sentir tan orgullosos”.
La inversión para la reparación de la cubierta del estadio es de 3.500 millones de pesos. Estos recursos provienen del pago del predial que hizo el batallón San Mateo al municipio de Pereira.
